Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the final chapter in the story of Nathan Drake, a retired treasure hunter who is lured back into action by his long-lost brother Sam.
The collection offers a chance to experience the thrilling adventures of Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer in stunning detail and performance. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is a remastered collection of two great games in the saga. At the very least, you'll get a couple of great games to play. But we'd argue that the writing is on the wall already. We shouldn't jump to conclusions, considering the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection hasn't even got a release date yet. These days 'remasters' tend to offer not much more than the original at another maximum price. An exciting prospect, but let's not forget the traditional fate of remasters. We can now play the thrilling adventure even if we don't have a PlayStation as the series was typically exclusive. Nothing major, but the more significant satisfying point is that the games will be available on more consoles, such as the PC, for the first time. Our guess is that we'll get the exact same game with some graphical improvements, bug fixes, a few unlockables, and maybe a bit more. So what's expected from this upcoming remaster? At the moment, we can't really tell besides the announcement of the game being 'more immersive.' We can only guess what that means, so we'll go ahead and give it a try. Regardless, there's much excitement to be had in revisiting the 4th installment. We were hoping for a remaster of the first three titles the publishers have fallen short on this one. It's the Legacy That CountsĪs unfortunate as it is, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection only features the most recent two entries into the series - Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Revisiting these two titles wouldn't go amiss to many players. All 4-games offered some of the most memorable, exciting, and brilliant single-player action-adventure stories around, with incredible stories that captured hearts and minds.
To say there's a lot of love for the franchise would be an understatement. What's the game's selling point? A remaster fit for modern consoles. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection features the entries from the latter end of the franchise spectrum, including the 4th installment and stand-alone addition that followed. It's kind of baffling how this entire series hasn't been wholly remastered yet - but here we are.
